Shayne Souleret (26 and a wedding planner) met Brad Bouldin (26 and an underwriter) at a mutual friend's annual New Years party and they hit it off immediately. Two years later, Brad proposed at the same New Years party by playing Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up" on a guitar and presenting Shayne with an heirloom ring. Wedding planning is Shayne's passion and she had been dreaming of planning her own wedding since she was a little girl, so when it came time to plan her own wedding she knew exactly where to start. Shayne and Brad's outdoor ceremony was followed by a jaw-dropping reception at White Barn in Prospect, Pennsylvania. "Flowers spilled onto tables from brass candlesticks and candelabras, which was perfect for our 'Secret Garden' theme," says Shayne. Farmhouse tables were beautifully arranged with chiavari chairs and gold table runners, as well as an assortment of vintage china that Shayne has been collecting since she first designed her dream wedding as a child. Guests were able to participate in the wedding festivities by contributing to a collective painting that replaced a traditional guest book and by consulting the "kissing menus," which had instructions for how they could solicit a kiss from the newlyweds. The elegance of the decor was rivaled by the chic styles of the wedding party, who looked effortless in gray suits by Vera Wang and gorgeous black dresses from Rent the Runway. Shayne herself looked amazing in a "Confections" by Monique Lhuiller ball gown. Every detail in this wedding was thoughtful and flawlessly executed, and Shayne and Brad's happiness and love was beautifully celebrated.
