A Chic Garden-Style Wedding at Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Talk about personalized! Kelsey Anderson (33 and a critical-care nurse) and Patrick Desmond (28 and a PhD student) and their families made almost every gorgeous blue and pink detail for their DIY garden fete. We’re talking hand-dyed and hand-cut linens, centerpieces made with Kelsey’s collection of almond butter jars and a handmade light-up marquee reminiscent of the “Love” sign in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kelsey worked with the pros at Amaranth Florist to make sure every arrangement fit their garden-style celebration at Knowlton Mansion with tons of bright pink peonies, coral roses and greenery. But as Kelsey and Pat put it, the most important part was the music. “The music for the ceremony right through to dinner was a great mix of Pat's and my favorites: Southern rock, the Black Keys and blues,” Kelsey says.
