A Chic, Colorful Wedding at Normandy Farm Hotel in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

California couple Melanie Weiss (27 and in public relations) and JC Yambao (27 and a regional demand planner) brought West Coast vibes to their barn wedding in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. To coordinate this cross-country affair, the couple enlisted the help of local event design firm, Belovely. With a citrus palette of yellow, orange, red, pink, purple and gold accents, they decked out their rustic venue, Normandy Farm Hotel, with tons of explosive flower arrangements. The outdoor ceremony aisle was lined with pillars topped by overflowing bouquets of roses, gerbera daisies, delphinums and orchids. The chuppah at the end of the aisle was covered in similar flowers and branches for an ethereal look. At the barn reception, tall pilsner vases showcased colorful blooms while the glittery gold sweetheart table featured cascading flowers for a romantic effect. To contrast with the vibrancy of the floral design, JC and his groomsmen dressed in navy suits while the bridesmaids wore long, neutral-tone dresses with muted beading. Melanie herself wore a stunning, beaded Monique Lhuillier gown and styled her hair down with a boho-chic crystal halo. Melanie and JC danced the night away with friends and family under the crystal chandeliers in the wood-paneled barn. The intercultural festivities included the hora, the traditional Jewish dance. "We had a roomful of Jews, Asians, and Catholics, so naturally the hora was somewhat of a kerfuffle, but hilarious when thinking back about it," Melanie says.
