A Chic Black-and-White Wedding at 2127 Larimer in Denver, Colorado
rn Although Taylor Cheeseman (27 and a store administrator at Nordstrom) and Jahre Cheeseman (28 and a high school football trainer) considered several ideas for their wedding, they decided it would be most meaningful to show everyone their lives together in the ever-growing city of Denver. Wanting a space that would do the Mile High City justice, they found 2127 Larimer downtown, which had a stunning rooftop space for the ceremony and reception. “The space was minimal, modern, urban and romantic all at the same time,” Taylor says. “It had a combination of historic architecture coupled with modern amenities. The roof deck had a panoramic view of the city and the spaces featured hard wood and natural stone floors, exposed brick walls and natural light throughout.” Inspired by the modern, urban space, Taylor and Jahre chose a black-and-white palette for all details, and enlisted the help of A Touch of Bliss to ensure that everything came together flawlessly. One of our favorite details is gorgeous wedding cake from Mulberries Cake Shop that was just as delicious as it looked, with chocolate cake, Bavarian creme, marble cake and fudge filling on the inside and buttercream frosting with cascading anemones outside. The cake topper, two black-and-white puzzle pieces, totally fit the theme and are salt and pepper shakers that Taylor and Jahre now use in their home. There are so many details to love about this modern fete. See them all, beautifully captured by True Photography Weddings, below.
