A Chic Beach Wedding at the Westin Grand Cayman on Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Krissy Jackson (26 and in retail) hit it off with Carlos Gorrichategu (44 and an entrepreneur) from the beginning. “I mean, who can resist his Spanish accent?” she says. The pair said their vows in front of 102 guests on a quiet beach next to the Westin Hotel on Grand Cayman Island, not far from where they had gotten engaged 10 months earlier. Colors were kept light and simple: “We wanted to stick with neutral colors, such as white and gold,” Krissy says. “My main focus was the ocean, so I didn't want another color to interfere with God’s beautiful creation.” Crisp white orchids, hydrangeas and roses were combined for Krissy’s bouquet and served as centerpieces at the nearby reception. “The centerpieces were absolutely amazing—tall bouquets filled with white roses and orchids," Krissy says. "I never knew so much simplicity could look so good.” Embracing the island vibe, guests sipped on freshly split coconuts and Jamaican rum during cocktail hour, then danced under string lights as the sun set. Krissy’s advice for other couples? “Take every moment into consideration," she says. "Life is so short. Have fun with each other, and show love constantly.” —Carolyn Meers
