A Charming Garden Wedding at the English Inn in Eaton Rapids, Michigan

Ashley (24 and a teacher and school psychologist intern) and Matthew (25 and a mechanical designer) met their junior year of high school through mutual friends. Although they went to the prom with separate dates, their dates ended up hitting it off better with one another—and, fortunately, so did they! After dating for several years, Matthew proposed on Christmas Eve (in time for Ashley’s favorite holiday) at Ashley’s parents’ house so that her family could share in the excitement. For their wedding, the couple decided on an outdoor wedding at the English Inn in Eaton Rapids, Michigan surrounded by historic cottages and English gardens. Overall, the wedding and after party, held at the inn's English-style pub, had a wonderfully vintage British theme, incorporating a cigar bar and games of croquet out on the grounds.
