When Lindsey Knott (24 and a teacher) and Tyler Knott (25 and a welder) were set up on a blind date by common friends, Lindsey was optimistic: “My parents met on a blind date, so I thought, Why not?” Six months later, Tyler asked Lindsey’s father for her hand in marriage. A shared love of the outdoors and natural beauty brought them to Lazenby Farms in Auburn, Alabama. They exchanged their vows under a floral arch in the middle of the pecan orchard, with beautiful panoramic views of the countryside. The couple kept things simple, with a palette of white, blush and soft green to decorate, using flowers picked from Lindsey's mother's garden. “I can still remember standing next to Tyler in front of our guests, looking out at all the beauty in front of us and realizing we had finally come to our wedding day," Lindsey says. "After the ceremony, all our guests went into the barn for the reception. But before our announcement, we took a few minutes alone to sit and bask in the fact that we were finally one. It was easily our favorite part of the wedding.” —Jen Leahy
