A Casually Elegant Wedding at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida

When they hired Jet Set Wed to design their lunchtime wedding, Aly Vinas (40 and an administrative assistant) and Matt Audath (34 and in airport operations) trusted Kehrin Hassan and her team to execute their vision of casual elegance. Shades of deep burgundy, dusty rose and hints of peacock blue tied the details of the day together. "When I turned around and saw her, I was overwhelmed with emotions. Our family was one step closer to becoming complete," Matt says of his first look with Aly and their son, Alyjah. The couple softened the venue’s wood tables with organic linens and free-form florals. “We sprinkled the table with fruit and berries to give it a lived-in feel,” Kehrin Hassan of Jet Set Wed says. The calligraphed tile place cards at each setting were even made to match the venue’s own architecture. Aly and Matt’s travels influenced the menu that included shrimp and grits for New Orleans and fried green tomato slaw for South Carolina. The feast finished on a sweet note with macarons decorated to match the invitations and a simple carrot cake with a Grand Marnier filling.
