A Casually Elegant, Glamorous Wedding at Veridian Event Center in Springfield, Missouri

Wanting to combine their different styles for their wedding, Carly Adams (27 and a marketing instructor) and Scott Pierson (30 and a criminal defense lawyer) decided on a casually elegant look for their day. They chose a navy and gold palette and paired modern and timeless details for a look we can’t help but love. Carly and Scott enlisted the help of Abby Mitchell Event Planning and Design to bring all the details together. One of our favorites is the stunning buttercream cake. It was decorated with navy stripes, gold polka dots and a starburst topper that’s totally cool. Although all of Carly and Scott’s details were gorgeous, they wanted a venue that spoke for itself. The Veridian Event Center in Springfield, Missouri, with its soaring ceilings and oversized windows, was perfect. They loved how lofty and bright the space was and how the gold walls and soft wood floors fit their theme.
