The Bride Brynn Hannay, 29 and is a pharmacist at Target The Groom Jeff Steckman, 29 and is a pharmacist at Kroger The Date May 22 To capture a bit of “funky flair,” Brynn and Jeff used minimal decor and paired shabby chic, off-beat details with a glamorous red and gunmetal-gray color palette.

A vintage-style sign that matched the table numbers sat on the head table.
White and black tablecloths and red centerpieces brought the room together.
The couple chose a small red velvet cake in dotted buttercream, paired with a cheeky topper -- a bride and groom on their cell phones.
Instead of paper escort cards, Brynn's sister helped her create a framed piece of glass for the seating chart, on which she wrote the guests' table assignments.
Brynn's scarlet bouquet was made up of roses, asters, alstroemeria, mini gerbera daisies, mini carnations and a few feathers for glamour.
Dinner was split up into themed food stations, including a Junk Food Station, an Italian Station, and an Asian Station.
Though she chose the maids' charcoal A-line dresses (with pockets!), Brynn asked the girls to accessorize themselves to let their personalities shine.
Pillar candles lined the pews and two large black wrought-iron candelabras helped retain the dark, Gothic feeling of the church.
Guests received two favors: First, a donation was made in their name to the ASPCA (in honor of the couple’s dog, Roxie), and second, a small black mint tin rested on each place setting. The tins were wrapped in either red or black tulle and tied off with a tea-stained thank-you note.
Brynn completed her bridal ensemble with a pair of crimson peep-toe heels.
Freestanding wooden table numbers, purchased on Etsy.com, gave each table a bit of old-world panache.
In keeping with the theme, red candies were set out during the cocktail hour.
