A Casual Summer Wedding at a Private Residence in Selkirk, Ontario, Canada

Carla Parfitt (33 and an assembly technician) and Dawn Parfitt (30 and a robotic welder) met online. After a month of talking over the phone, Carla spontaneously decided to drive up and meet Dawn, so the first time they met in real life was at five in the morning outside Dawn's house. The couple was married in the backyard of Dawn's parents' house in Selkirk, Ontario, Canada. The ceremony took place against a scenic backdrop of horse fields, and Carla and Dawn said their vows under a beautiful wood arch decorated with white linens and purple sashes. At the tented reception, dining tables were arranged with purple linens and centerpieces of pink gerbera daisies in crystal-embellished bell jars. Carla donned a tea-length wedding dress in white on her wedding day, while Dawn chose a knee-length ivory number. They both carried bouquets of pink and white gerbera daisies, and Carla wore a gerbera daisy headpiece in her hair. This romantic wedding was feminine and intimate, and it was the perfect celebration of the couple's union.
