A Casual, Rustic Wedding at Welshfield Inn in Burton, Ohio
Megan Marsh (27, a registered nurse) and Clint Marsh (28, a tattoo artist) met through mutual friends and had their first date at an Italian restaurant. It was love at first ravioli for Megan! They continued to build a relationship over the years, and eventually Clint was ready to propose to Megan. Surrounded by their closest friends, Clint revealed his forearm tattoo that read “Marry Me Megan” as he proceeded to get down on one knee. The couple was married at the University Parish Newman Center in Kent, Ohio. They chose this location because both their parent’s had gotten married at the church. Megan carried a bouquet down the aisle filled with wild flowers wrapped in a handkerchief her mother wore on her wedding day. Following the ceremony was the outdoor reception at the Welshfield Inn in Burton, Ohio, a historical restaurant surrounded by acres of farmland. The cream and blush color palette with accents of lace created a casual, simple look for the wedding day d?cor. “We had an intimate wedding with all of our closest friends and family,” says Megan. “Clint and I made a point to speak, laugh, dance and eat with all of our guests, who I hope made them realize how special each and everyone of them are to us.”
