A Casual, Rustic Wedding at Springhill Pavilion in Belgrade, Montana

Carie Omland and Chris Omland met in Bozeman, Montana, while they were mountain biking, and Chris proposed while they were on a cross country ski date in Yellowstone National Park. Choosing a place to get married was quick and easy for the couple because they knew they wanted to be surrounded by the place they call home just outside of Big Sky, Montana. Springhill Pavilion not only has breathtaking views, but is also full of history with its original dance hall founded in 1907 (a couple movies have even been filmed here!). Carie wore a gorgeous lace trumpet dress from Eskay Bridal and Chris wore a khaki suit. They wanted a simple, casual wedding with natural details and an eclectic color palette of ivory, green, blue and pink. Fresh Designs created the organic, wildflower-inspired floral arrangements using thistle, veronica, dahlias, ranunculus and roses that brought a little romance to the otherwise simple decor. At the end of the night guests danced to local band The Dirty Shame and took home black-and-white koozies with the state of Montana marked with a “you were here” heart.
