A Casual, Rustic Wedding at Miner's Saloon in Cooke City, Montana
Kacie Stevens and Cody Schwarz chose a little town called Cooke City in Montana for their intimate wedding. Kacie’s family owns a cabin in town (which is where the wedding party got ready). They loved the close-to-home, laid-back atmosphere of the country setting. To match the simple site, the bridesmaids wore navy high-low dresses, while the groomsmen donned jeans with navy button-ups. They exchanged vows in a gorgeous rustic chapel -- complete with antler chandeliers, vaulted ceilings and giant windows overlooking the amazing mountains -- down the street from the family’s cabin. Plus, the chapel only sat 40 people, which gave it a more intimate feel. Afterward, the pair had a simple reception at Miner’s Saloon decorated with small centerpieces, white table linens, paper lanterns and wooden chairs. They enjoyed a three-tier naked wedding cake decorated with powdered sugar, fresh fruit and ivory hydrangeas. One of the bridesmaid’s birthdays was the same day, so Kacie even had a special cake just for her!
