A Casual Rustic Wedding at An Enchanting Evening in Roland, Arkansas

Amanda Cox (26 and a registered nurse) and Nick Hoffman (26 and a high school teacher) met in their college biology class. Nick proposed on the top of Mount Magazine in Paris, Arkansas, with Amanda’s great grandmother’s ring. Inspired by their love for the outdoors, the couple wanted a rustic, natural wedding. They easily chose An Enchanting Evening for its outdoor space, beautiful views and flexibility with vendors. The couple used a plum and yellow color palette and added rustic details such as chalkboards and burlap. Purposefully deciding to get married in the fall allowed them to use the natural leaves and fall colors as their backdrop, which means they got to keep the decor to a minimum. One of their favorite parts was the delicious menu—a DIY chili bar! They served a meat chili and a five-bean chili with shredded cheese, crackers, jalapenos, Fritos and hot dogs so guests could make it their own. Instead of having guests bring gifts, they asked guests to bring a donation for ICAN Arkansas—an organization that allows children with special needs to take dance classes and have recitals that otherwise wouldn’t be able to.
