A Rustic, Elegant Wedding at Gabriel Springs Events in Georgetown, Texas

Gabriel Springs Events in Georgetown, Texas, is a gorgeous venue with natural, rustic, elegant style and indoor and outdoor spaces for a truly Texas wedding. That’s why Nicole Hubbard (26 and an interior design student) and Jess Huber (38 and in cyber security) chose this venue to host their casual-chic wedding. “Since our venue was in Texas, we decided to play up the Southern vibe,” Nicole says. She and Jess incorporated their personal style into the wedding details by including DIY projects wherever possible. They used tulips (their favorite flower) for Nicole’s bridal bouquet and Jess’s boutonniere and lavender for their send-off. To add a romantic ambience, they chose votive candles in their favorite (and signature) scent, Japanese Cedarwood from Root Candle. “We always make sure to have an extra in our home—it’s our absolute favorite,” Nicole says. They also labeled each dining table with a chalkboard, which reflected their wedding invitations from Invitations by Dawn, who created a postcard that looked like wood with chalk writing that matched the Western wedding vibe. The couple’s favorite detail, though, was the paper airplanes. “Jess and I absolutely love to travel,” Nicole says. “All our friends and family know our travels and our love for traveling, and as soon as we were married, our guests threw paper airplanes our way.” See the cute details, captured by Kate & Co Photography, below.
