A Casual, Outdoor Wedding at Black Hills Receptions and Rentals in Rapid City, South Dakota

Since Jennifer Fan (39 and an attorney) and Hoa Nguyen (34 and a game designer and artist) decided to hold their wedding in the beautiful Black Hills, where Jennifer grew up, they wanted a theme to complement the beauty of their natural, outdoor surroundings. Using bold navy with pops of yellow, the couple accented rustic elements like freshly picked wildflowers bouquets and succulent accents. Mason jars wrapped in burlap and filled with wildflowers, coffee beans, and votive candles were used as centerpieces. To round out the laid-back vibe, dinner was a large buffet with a suckling pig roast, a prime rib carving station, and a mashed potato bar. Guests even munched on the ultimate comfort food: sixteen different flavors of donuts at the dessert bar.
