A Casual, Historic Wedding at Bailey House Museum in Wailuku, Hawaii

Kelly Young (33 and a property manager) heard about Jordan Hart (35 and a land use planner) through a friend who was interested while they were all undergraduates at Northern Arizona University. At a college function, Kelly and Jordan ended up dancing with each other and instantly felt a connection. After the friend gave her stamp of approval, Kelly and Jordan dated for the next three and a half years up until their last semester of college. They ended up separating because they needed to be in different places, but reconnected seven years later like no time had passed. Kelly moved to Maui to be with Jordan and dated again for the next three years, leading up to the proposal on top of a mountain in Wailuku. The couple had their wedding at Bailey House Museum, which is a historic mission home built on beautiful property overlooking the Iao Valley Mountains. For the tropical, warm weather, Kelly wore a strapless ivory wedding dress with a sweetheart cut made of chiffon and flip flops for comfort. The blue, orange and red color palette decorated the elegant and classic wedding space, accented with floral arrangements handpicked from the couple’s own backyard. Guests were given heart-shaped wine stoppers, which was symbolic for the couple’s last name “Hart”.
