A Casual Forest Wedding at Seneca Hills Bible Camp in Franklin, Pennsylvannia

Sarah Sherry (23 and a retail manager) and Wesley Sherry (22 and an IT Specialist) first met when they were infants, but their families have been friends for generations before them. They were great friends throughout high school and college, but decided to give dating a shot while in the last year of college. (It was well worth it!) A couple months after they had been dating, Wesley took Sarah to an art gallery where he had hidden a piece of art of his own. He was wearing a silly pair of big red star-shaped glasses, and the couple would look at each piece of art through the lenses to see if it changed the feel of the piece. When they arrived at Wesley’s masterpiece, Sarah looked through the lenses to see the scribbles form the words, “Will you marry me?” When she looked back at Wes, he was down on one knee. They chose to be married in the secluded woods of Seneca Hills Bible Camp in Franklin, Pennsylvannia, where they had both grown up going to and working at together. They had planned for the reception to take place under shady pine trees along the creek weaving its way through the trees, but the threat of rain forced the celebration indoors. Their rustic, bohemian wedding in warm weather called for relaxed attire and a soft pastel color palette that contrasted the deep greens and browns of the natural setting. The whole day reflected the natural beauty of the woods and their love for one another.
