A Casual, Colorful Summer Wedding at Glynwood Farm in Cold Spring, New York
“We wanted to celebrate the summer harvest and beauty of the farm,” Stephanie (26 and a community and brand manager) says of weaving navy blue details and vibrant, in-season blooms throughout her and Noah Meyer’s (26 and a field technician) décor.
Stephanie and Noah honored the veil, cord and coin unity traditions common in Filipino wedding ceremonies. Afterward, the newlyweds and 150 guests celebrated with a laid-back dinner that incorporated hand-dyed indigo table runners made by two close friends. “The linens were my favorite reception detail,” Stephanie says. “They brought the entire look together.”
Inspired by a soft, romantic beauty look, Stephanie did her own hair and makeup the morning of the wedding.
“All of the bouquets felt a little wild, which was perfect,” Stephanie says.
“Our cake was the best part of the meal,” Stephanie says of the apricot-glazed confection designed to mimic the look of a honeycomb. Wood blocks acted as cake toppers, which the couple plans to gift their future child. “They’re actually wood Waldorf toys made to look like Noah and me,” she says.
“I loved its delicate lace straps and the way it hugged my frame,” Stephanie says of her white silk sheath.
