A Casual Beachside Wedding at Ridgway Bar and Grill in Naples, Florida

While Jessica Wittrock (27 and works in social services) and Justin Wittrock (29 and the director of marketing and business development at Proscan Imaging) are originally from the Mid-West, they met through Match.com in Florida and were engaged within two years. Justin popped the question on a day trip to Captiva Island in front of Chapel by the Sea. “I was shaking with excitement and many happy tears were shed as he got down on one knee. I will never forget that moment,” says Jessica. One year later, the town where they met, Naples, Florida, became the site of their wedding. Jessica and Justin had a beachside wedding overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. A stone pathway lined with palm trees became their ceremony aisle as 40 friends and family members watched the couple say “I do.” The celebration continued into the nearby Ridgway Bar and Grill for an intimate cocktail hour and reception. Neutral tones as well as shades of pink and green decorated the space. “We wanted the natural beauty of the beach to be our decoration and theme” says Jessica. Each ivory linen covered table was accented with white chairs, pearls and tea light candles. A burlap and lace wrapped mason jar filled with baby’s breath and pink roses was used as the centerpiece. The couple's beach inspiration was also reflected in their wedding cake. Jessica and Justin chose a two-tiered ivory confection accented with jute at the base of each layer and two starfish as the topper. “Enjoy every single moment, minute and breath of your wedding day. It'll be unforgettable,” says Jessica.
