A Casual Beach Wedding at Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs, Florida

Between the natural aisle decor, seashells and Hawaiian-inspired leis, Nicole Klein (29) and Bradley Klein’s (29) wedding was just the right mix of simple and beachy. Tonya Malay Photography captured every blue, fuchsia and white detail as the couple started their day in a barefoot ceremony. White benches along the aisle were met with wooden baskets and colored-glass bottles. For a rustic touch, A Flower Boutique filled each with fuchsia stock and baby’s breath. “We wanted the focus to be on the people, not the decor,” Nicole says. She walked toward their bamboo wedding arch in a simple white wedding dress with a double keyhole back by Nicole Miller. Brad waited for her in a Tommy Bahama shirt and khakis. As they met in Hawaii, both finished their looks with a lei. After the couple exchanged vows, Nicole, Brad and their 50 guests had a reception with a few fun and personal twists. The party started with dinner, dancing to Trevor Earl and the Band and corn-hole games. “Our music consisted of a one-man band who incorporated live instruments with pre-recorded music,” Nicole says. Action stations were brought in later, as they ended the night with a candy bar and a few flavors of cupcakes, including chocolate, red velvet and vanilla. Nicole shares a quick planning tip: “Trust your gut, follow your heart and keep it simple.”
