A Casual Backyard Wedding and Stylish Restaurant Reception at Madison on Park in San Diego, California

As graphic designers, Yui Inoko and Dan Lachman implemented a casual, eclectic style into their wedding day. The pair took portraits a few days before the wedding so they could get ready together. Dan donned a blue suit with an orange bow tie, and Yui ended up in a casual dress paired with a mustard-colored hat. "The big fashion accessory for our wedding was my hat, which I had custom made in Los Angeles," Yui says. "Once we had the hat, we built the rest of the colors and outfits to complement it." The ceremony took place in their backyard beneath a geometric arch accented with classic flower arrangements. Guests relaxed in modern lounge furniture before heading to a reception at colorful Madison on Park. The restaurant featured geometric-patterned walls and high wood ceilings—architectural details that completely complemented the couple's color palette of blue and mustard. 
Our favorite #MakeTradition moment: "We refrained from most religious aspects for the ceremony, but we did incorporate stomping on glass together after we kissed at the altar," Yui says.
