The Bride Sarah Pease, 31, owner and creative director at Brilliant Event Planning The Groom Cass Crockatt, 35, a user experience designer at SapientNitro The Date June 2 Sarah and Cass knew from the start that they wanted their wedding to feel bright and cheery, while still remaining contemporary. They worked with a bold color palette of blues, strawberry and yellow to create the look they were after.

Sarah says she “felt like a very beautiful version of myself” in her strapless, fit-and-flare layered organza gown.
Instead of singing traditional church hymns during the ceremony, the couple had everyone join in to sing “Lean on Me.”
Sarah’s sister carried a sunshine-yellow bouquet that included garden roses and orchids.
Much of the day’s design was inspired by the couple’s cheerful invitation suite.
The heart motif from the invitations showed up at guests’ place settings.

Bold, modern pillars held bunches of gladiolus, while different-colored ribbons decorated the chairs lining the ceremony aisle.
Sarah carried a vibrant pink-and-red bouquet of peonies, cockscomb, roses and sweet peas (a cute nod to her maiden name).
Fun “do not disturb” door hangers, along with welcome notes, were included in guests’ bags.
A chart of who’s who at the wedding was included with the programs to help out-of-town guests break the ice.
The couple’s heart logo made it all the way to their custom favors too. At the end of the evening, guests received visors and hats with the logo on them.
Modern white containers held bright arrangements of blooms in shades of pink, yellow and white.
