A Bright, Tropical Wedding at the Newport Beach House in Middletown, Rhode Island
With a stylish, nautical design in mind, Chantal D’Alfonso (25 and a nurse) and Michael DiSarro (30 and an entrepreneur) filled their airy beachfront venue with geometric details, acrylic accents and palm leaves reminiscent of the famed Beverly Hills Hotel. “I wanted something modern, while Michael wanted a beach wedding,” Chantal says. In that spirit, the couple booked a space that blended both of their desired styles. “We were able to get married on a terrace overlooking the ocean without having to be in the sand," Chantal says. Driftwood gates flanked the waterfront altar, providing guests with picturesque views of the ocean. Whitewashed tables and rose gold flatware juxtaposed verdant tropical centerpieces, while a boxwood backdrop and bespoke neon sign played up the “Beverly Hills Hotel” vibe. To signal the end of the evening, guests gathered around the couple as they swayed to Kenny Chesney’s “She’s From Boston.”
