A Bright, Traditional Wedding at Country Club of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina
From the teal bridesmaid dresses to the gold sweetgrass flower escort cards, Stephanie Buckley (26 and a physician assistant) and Ryan Stout’s (29 and a physician assistant) traditional wedding was filled with bright teal, gold, pink and white accents, for a fun twist. Kelly Dillon Photography captured every detail as the day started with a traditional ceremony at St. Luke’s Chapel and ended in a sweet indoor reception at the Country Club of Charleston. The team at Pretty Petals of Charleston added a pop of color throughout the wedding decor. Each bridesmaid carried an eye-catching bouquet of pink roses, white hydrangeas and pink delphiniums during the ceremony that stood out against the simple white bow aisle decor. For the reception, the couple's florist created arrangements of coral roses, pink peonies, red hypericum berries white roses, pink delphiniums and white hydrangeas, set on round tables within a cylinder vases. Each was surrounded by a gold halo of tea light candles, adding a classic touch. Stephanie also put a colorful spin on each guest’s napkin. With a love for the colors in peacock feathers, she placed one of the bright plumes at each place setting. After dinner, guests with a sweet tooth were treated to tiers upon tiers of red velvet, chocolate chip and a variety of other cupcakes baked by DeClare Cakes. A fifth layer on the display was met with a single-tier white wedding cake. For future couples, Stephanie shares a tip: “Have your go to person who is not family or in the wedding party of day of unexpected errands!”
