A Bright Pink Wedding at Makeney Hall Hotel in Belper, Derbyshire, England

Everywhere you looked at Kara Blurton (30 and a sales manager) and Andy Blurton's (35 and a warehouse manager) wedding, you saw two things: hot pink and sparkles. The couple wasn't scared to use generous amounts of their bright wedding color and glittery, eye-catching details for their wedding at Makeney Hall Hotel, a historic mansion-turned-hotel in Belper, England. All of the flower arrangements, from the bouquets to the boutonnieres to the fishbowl centerpieces, consisted of hot pink roses and gerbera daisies. The groomsmen wore hot pink cravats with their long gray tuxedo jackets and the bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses in hot pink. Kara wore a sparkly crystal tiara with her ball gown wedding dress that also featured rhinestone embellishments in the bodice. And to incorporate Kara's favorite motifs into the wedding design, the square tiered wedding cake and the flower arrangements featured sparkly, hot pink butterflies—double whammy! There were so many great details from Kara and Andy's wedding, but one of our favorites was the wedding transportation. Kara and Andy hired vintage cars to drive their wedding party.
