Bright and cheery was the end goal for Annie Berger (30 and a children’s book editor) and Austin Hall (30 and an alternative investment analyst), who tied the knot in the center of New York City's Bryant Park. Instead of ditching their venue’s existing furniture for more understated accents, Annie and Austin embraced the room’s bright red and fuchsia furnishings. “I thought about covering them up at first, but I eventually decided on bold florals that matched the chairs,” Annie says. Punchy pink ranunculus, peonies and cherry blossoms poured out of sophisticated copper vases. To reflect the sleek, urban feel of the outdoor ceremony setting, the couple used a custom copper frame arch to create a picturesque ceremony backdrop. Instead of standard wedding dishes, the newlyweds put together a menu of simple, fun eats, including miniature burgers, lobster rolls and mac and cheese bites, along with signature Kir Royale cocktails and chocolate-peanut butter cake.
