A Bright, Intimate Wedding at Villa Le Miccine in Tuscany, Italy
Julie Vachon (27, epidemiologist) and Pierre-Samuel Proulx (27, parliamentary assistant) met through mutual friends before university. Their chemistry grew as they started talking more often and soon they began dating. They were together for eight years when Pierre proposed to Julie during a casual dinner at their home. A year before the proposal, the couple had read an article about a vineyard in Tuscany, Italy that was owned by a fellow French Canadian. When the time came to pick their venue, Julie and Pierre both agreed that the vineyard they had read about would be the perfect destination for their dream wedding. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony at the nearby, historic Castello Spaltenna with a outdoor reception at Villa Le Miccine, the French Canadian owned vineyard with amazing views. The simple reception was captured by Andrea Matone and beautifully decorated with long tables and centerpieces of yellow dahlias and wildflowers and escort cards were held in place by Italian labels at every seat. Wedding fashions were colorful and stylish, with red high low bridesmaid dresses, gray and pink groomsmen outfits, a navy suit for Pierre and a front opening white wedding dress with a fascinator veil for Julie. This French Canadian couple had a bright, gorgeous wedding with breathtaking views at Villa Le Miccine in Tuscany, Italy.
