A Bright, Intimate Wedding at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

Abby Celotto (28, nurse) and Mike Armahizer (28, pharmacist) were friends throughout college without knowing that secretly they both liked each other. It was only until after graduation that the two became closer and began dating. While on a trip to Yosemite National Park for his birthday, Mike proposed to Abby on top of Half Dome. Abby said yes before he could finish the proposal. The couple decided to get married at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. They had their ceremony at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit on the campus of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. For their fall wedding, Abby and Mike chose a color palette of poppy red and gray. Since poppies weren't in season during the time of their wedding, they worked with their florist from Gidas Flowers to choose seasonal flowers like dahlias and chrysanthemums. Abby wore a silk taffeta ball gown dress with a sweetheart neckline from the Wtoo by Watters line. She accessorized with pearl jewelry. Her bridesmaids wore gray dresses of their choosing with poppy red cardigans from J. Crew and poppy red shoes. The groomsmen and Mike wore gray 3-piece suits with red ties and pocket squares. Mike wore a white dahlia and silver brunnia boutonniere.  The reception at Greystone Fields was decorated with a lot of fun DIY decor, including burlap table linens and twine covered bottles and mason jars as vases. Flower arrangements included a variety of red, purple, yellow, orange and white blooms, with dahlias, chryanthemums, heather and other flowers. They named the tables at their reception after their favorite spots in Pittsburgh. Instead of a traditional guest book, guests were asked to sign heart shaped wood chips. They were also asked to provide date ideas for the newlyweds on popsicle sticks. Abby and Mike had an extensive dessert table with an assortment of cookies, following an Italian tradition. Abby and Mike's bright fall wedding was playful, intimate and pretty.
