A Bright Guava and Blue Wedding at Beach House in Pensacola Beach, Florida

This Malibu blue and guava palette puts a bright spin on Allison Villarreal (25 and a call-center representative) and Josh Lewis’s (28 and a call-center representative) intimate wedding. “We wanted the colors to show that we are all about happiness,” Allison says. On their wedding day, it did just that. Allison and Josh lined the beach with hanging guava pomanders as DIY arrangements of white hydrangeas accented the ceremony space. Their 45 guests watched from rows of white folding chairs as Allison made her entrance in an eye-catching Oleg Cassini ball gown from David’s Bridal. Tiers of ruffled organza swept over the pure white sand as delicate lace appliques covered the bodice. After she and John exchanged vows, all went inside their rented beach house in Pensacola Beach, Florida, for a reception focused on fun and dancing. Each table was met with seashells and a tealight candle in a blue glass votive as matching blue runners topped its linens. Their dessert display even used the hue, as tiers of vanilla cupcakes were topped with blue and guava icing. A single-tier wedding cake covered in white fondant and topped with hydrangeas was placed above the display. The best part of the party was when everyone got on the deck and danced till the middle of the night,” Allison says. “We will never forget the happiness on everyone’s faces and the way we felt.” Hcophotos captured every moment of the day, below.
