A Bright, Colorful Wedding at Chicago Botanic Gardens in Glencoe, Illinois
Rocio Cifrian (26 and a trader at Chicago Board of Trade) and Cyrus Younessi (27 and a trader at Chicago Board of Trade) wanted to put their own modern and glamorous spin on the Chicago Botanic Gardens, so they covered it with these incredibly bright flowers! “I really love colors that pop and contrast, so we had flowers with different shades of purple, blues and reds against a soft backdrop of light blue,” says Rocio. Even their white wedding arch was draped with ivy and roses from Studio AG Design. When guests entered the tented reception, everyone found their escort cards hanging from a bold display of dark manzanita branches. Of course, this was nothing compared to their centerpieces. Lush pomanders of orchids, roses and hydrangeas were set on black candelabras and dripping with crystals across each glass-topped table. Another standout detail was their four-tiered wedding cake. Rocio and Cyrus worked with Amy Beck Cake Design LLC cover it with cascading flowers and purple piping. Check out these details and more shot by Bob & Dawn Davis Photography and Design, below!
