A Bright Beach Wedding at the Popponesset Inn in Cape Cod, Massachussetts

Christine (a finance professional) and Mike (a chef) met at a pop-up restaurant established by the James Beard Foundation at Chelsea Market in New York City. Mike was in town from Connecticut, but stayed in the city for a couple hours longer to join their group of friends at a local bar, the Spotted Pig, where he and Christine continued to talk and build a friendship that eventually turned into a romantic attraction. Mike proposed less than three years after their first date while they went on a hike on a weekend trip to Vermont, which followed closely after with a celebration at the Harpoon Brewery and brunch at the Simon Pearce Glass Factory. Both Christine and Mike grew up with family trips to Cape Cod, so they knew it was there on a beach that they would get married. They held a tented reception at the Popponesset Inn in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where they encapsulated the essence of summer with a watermelon color scheme of pink and green.
