Leah Kream (31 and an emergency physician) and Adam Ford (27 and an athletic trainer) walked into a bar. They walked out with each other’s phone numbers. Unfortunately, life got in the way and the two weren’t able to coordinate a date anytime soon. When Adam texted Leah six months later, she had completely forgotten about him. Adam asked her out and they were finally able to fit into each other’s schedules and lives. They decided to move in together after their relationship progressed. The day after they moved in to their new place in Virginia Beach, Adam tried getting Leah to go with him for a walk on the beach. Leah didn’t want to, so by the time he convinced her to come it was already dark out and Adam had to use the light from his cell phone screen to show her the ring. The couple got married at Virginia Beach’s Lester Inn. Their ceremony was held on a tented dock overlooking the bay. With the help of Michelle Amarillo Event Planning, Leah and Adam created a neutral wedding with orange and yellow accents. Flowers from Studio Posy included hydrangeas, roses and gerbera daisies in vivid shades of yellow, orange and white. Leah wore a silk organza ball gown by Watters as her wedding dress. The bridesmaids wore floor length dresses in the neutral tones of their choosing, and Adam and his groomsmen wore Chuck Taylors with their formal charcoal gray attire. Leah and Adam’s bright, bayside wedding was fun and sophisticated.
