A Bright Autumn Wedding at Hawkesbury Golf and Curling Club in Ontario, Canada

Sandy Corriveau (27, a Dietitian) and Shawn Gascon (28, Owner of a Transport & Excavation Company) met at a resort in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. "Shawn was there with a group of friends to attend a wedding and I was there with my friends for a vacation. Were were dancing at the same club and he heard me speaking French to a friend. So he introduced himself in this funny way: "Hey! You speak French! Want to have a drink with me?" And that is how it all started," Sandy says. Shawn proposed on Christmas Day, when the couple was having their private gift exchange. "He gave me a big box containing jewelry cleaner and two tickets for a bridal show. When I turned around to face him, he was on one knee and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me," Sandy recalls. Since the couple got married in October, they let the Autumn season influence the theme and style of their wedding. A color palette of burnt orange, yellow, red and a base color of charcoal gray was used in stationery, bouquets, clothing and wedding favors, giving Sandy and Shawn's wedding a gorgeous Fall look.
