A Breathtaking, Waterfront Wedding at Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland

Kristine Depew (25, sales manager) and Reno Smith (25, supervisor) met on their first day of school at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Reno asked her out that day, inviting her to eat at one of Maryland’s famed crab restaurants with him. They ended up dating for six years before Reno popped the question with his grandmother’s antique ring on the beach at Ocean City, Maryland. They decided to get married where they met, on the eastern shore of Maryland, so they chose the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland as their venue. Their breathtaking, waterfront wedding had a soft color palette of ivory, dusty pink and gray, allowing the scenery around them to set the tone of the day. Kristine and Reno's wedding was full of charming details, like the dreamlike birch arbor under which they were married and the cool, reclaimed wood bar with floral insets at the bayside cocktail hour. The reception was held in a sailcloth tent that had alternating circular and rectangular tables and bistro lighting that beautifully illuminated Kristine and Reno as they did their first dance as husband and wife. Fragrant blooms of garden roses, zinnias, peonies and dahlias were included in the centerpieces and the bouquets of the wedding party, members of which were dressed in chic tones of charcoal gray. Kristine and Reno's seemingly effortless wedding was a stunner with its exquisite details, gorgeous setting and lovely bride and groom.
