A Boho Woodland Wedding at a Private Residence in Havana, Florida
Not many couples can say their wedding venue runs in the family, but for newlyweds Mari Homma (30 and a merchandise planner) and Maxwell Pepper (31 and a graphic designer), that sentiment rings true. The couple sealed the deal at the groom’s family farm, located just 30 minutes outside of Tallahassee. “My parents were married on the farm after having originally met at a party there,” Maxwell says. “My sister got married there too, so we wanted to carry on the tradition.” Citrus accents—including fruit-patterned pocket squares, a Key lime pound cake and kumquat boutonnieres—added a playful element to the open-air celebration. Even the signature sips were citrus-flavored, from a rosemary-lemon cocktail to a concoction made from mint and grapefruit.
