Lauren Freeman’s (21 and a designer) and Kyle Freeman’s (22 and a salesman) wedding brought a whole new meaning to garden chic. Cactus and Tropicals in Draper, Utah, is this lush greenhouse full of natural greenery, an abundance of flowers, pretty lights and even an outdoor garden, but the venue’s glass enclosure protects it from the surrounding desert elements -- and since Lauren and Kyle wanted to get married in the great outdoors without worrying about the weather, it was the perfect place to celebrate. Lauren and Kyle’s wedding style was inspired by the organic beauty of their venue, already stuffed with so much greenery and flowers they barely had to decorate, but they added a touch of romantic pink in the bridesmaids dresses and a touch of gold for sparkle. One stand-out detail we loved? In line with their natural theme, Lauren and Kyle took the eco-friendly route at every opportunity, using recycled materials and compostable products throughout their wedding. The stationery even had seeds embedded in the recycled paper, so guests could plant their invitations and grow flowers! Mariel Hannah was on-hand to capture the prettiness of the day. Utah Greenhouse Garden Venue
Lauren’s wedding dress from Allure Couture couldn’t have been a better fit for her style and venue. The flowers on the lace went so well with the flowers throughout the venue, and all of the crystal accents and pearls sparkled in the candlelight.
Lauren wore a pearly headband to accent the pearls on her wedding dress for a boho bridal look. She also wore a waist length veil.
Kyle wore a custom slick silver suit with a metallic gold tie to stand out in the garden.
The bridesmaids chose a blush color for their dresses and chose their own. Lauren’s best guy friend was in her bridal party, too, and he wore a darker pink suit with a blush bow tie to match the bridesmaids. As for her flower girl, they improvised in a beautiful way: “There was a problem last minute with one of the bridesmaids dresses. With no time to order her another, we found a cute floral dress and turned her into a flower girl instead!” And may we just say, everyone looks so great together.
Lauren and her bridesmaids carried garden-inspired bouquets including white peonies, blush garden roses and lots of greenery.
These adorable ring bearers dressed in neutral slacks with suspenders, bow ties and a cap for a vintage paper boy look, and each carried briefcases labeled “Ring Security.”
Lauren and Kyle said “I do” in front of this fountain and wedding arch overflowing with greens, illuminated by string lights and a chandelier. This super romantic garden setting influenced their whole wedding style.
We can’t get over how this pretty boho flower girl style. Her floral print dress stood out from the blush bridesmaids yet perfectly matched her flower crown and the garden wedding style. The flower girl basket was overflowing with moss, greenery and white flowers, and looked like she’d swept it up on her way down the aisle.

White and Gold Cocktail Tables
Cactus and Tropicals was already so beautiful and lush, Lauren and Kyle barely had to decorate. Their dining tables had neutral linens and table runners with soft gold accents and potted blush and white flowers to tie in the natural scenery.

This two-tier wedding cake totally captured the boho chic wedding style, complete with fresh ivory and blush flowers and succulents on top to tie in the garden setting. The bottom tier had quilting with metallic gold dot accents, and the top tier had draped, pearly dots on gold fondant.
