Amber Trim (25 and a veterinary technician) and Chance Lunn (25 and a grocery stockman and student), who met in middle school, wanted a wedding that "would speak to who we are and what we love,” Amber says. The couple filled their lush venue with tropical flowers, macramé accents and colorful centerpieces made from stacks of recycled magazines. With the help of Amber’s mother, the couple’s concept of an open-air, bohemian bash came to life in just nine months.  Amber’s oversize bouquet, filled with orchids, palm fronds, thistle and monstera leaves, complemented the nature preserve’s existing greenery. Ceramic planters and tribal rugs lined the length of the outdoor aisle, leading up to the place where Amber and Chance exchanged vows while Amber's stepdad officiated. Afterward, guests showered the newlyweds with dried flower petals that were contained in paper cones made from photocopies of the couple’s love notes. Staying true to the boho aesthetic, tables were topped with a miscellaneous collection of preserved ferns, vintage glassware and DIY dreamcatchers. Scattered café lights and tiki torches made for an intimate evening among the trees, and partygoers roasted marshmallows when they weren’t dancing in the grass.
