A Bohemian Wedding in Naples, Florida, with the Most Cheerful Yellow-and-Peach Palette

Since Jamie is originally from California, it was only natural that her wedding to Casey channel a bohemian west coast vibe with an explosion of floral elements. "One of my favorite places to visit is Joshua Tree National Park. So for me, it was a big part of the general wedding inspiration. I love the overall beauty of the colors, textures and desert plant diversity. Casey, who was born and raised in Florida, and a big fan of Jimmy Buffet, wanted to incorporate a Key West vibe. The seemingly opposing styles were blended into one unique design that represented both of our visions," Jamie shares. As for the flow of the wedding, the couple, "knew from the beginning we wanted a non traditional wedding. We opted for a private ceremony with a few of our closest friends and family followed by a large reception that we (correctly) assumed would go late into the night. With this in mind we knew that a backyard wedding would suit us and our needs perfectly. We held the ceremony under a gorgeous fifty year old poinciana tree draped with linen. The Sperry Tent was pivotal in transforming a simple backyard reception into our dream venue filled with a mixture of desert hues and tropical greenery." Floral décor was a key factor in achieving the bright, bohemian vibe the couple was going for. "The chosen florals and greenery perfectly encapsulated both of our visions and were pivotal in the creation of a beautiful atmosphere that was at once breath taking and laid back. Our floral designers also incorporated a dramatic centerpiece over the dance floor that was an absolutely stunning but not overbearing focal point. Since our ceremony occurred under a poinciana tree, I didn't feel it was necessary to over-do it with flowers and let nature be the backdrop. However, the bouquet of orchids, garden roses, and ranunculus, gave the extra pop of color and elegance desired," Jamie explains.
