A Bohemian Wedding at La Posada De Santa Fe Resort in Santa Fe, New Mexico

With a color palette inspired by Southwest sunsets and nods to New Mexican culture, Clare Adams and Keith Levy planned a vibrant, bohemian affair with an elegant edge. Florals were the centerpiece of the event: Peonies, proteas, succulents, roses, ranunculus and tulips in dramatic shades of yellow, coral, pink, red and green popped against the muted hues of the desert landscape. The archway under which Clara and Keith exchanged vows was a showstopper, with its lush greenery and ombré floral garland. Colorful woven rugs displayed down the aisle exuded cozy Southwestern vibes. Good food and tunes were top priorities for the reception. To give dinner a more relaxed feel, the couple opted for food vignettes in lieu of a traditional dinner and followed up the meal with live musical performances. “My dad is a musician, and he played with his band and with Lee Roy Parnell during the reception—he loved it!” Clara says. “Keith’s college band, The Rude Nudies, also played during the reception. By the end of the night, I think half of the crowd was on stage singing along.” A photo booth theme centered around Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, complete with parrots, mustaches, flower crowns and over-the-top hats, invited guests capture a whimsical moment. And instead of a traditional guest book, Clara and Keith opted for a Bill Worrell painting that guests could add their fingerprints to. At the end of the night, everyone sent the newlyweds off in style, shaking colorful maracas as the couple made their exit.
