Elizabeth Minch (26 and a creative director at Bustle) and Jason Eichholz (27 and vice president of Buy-Rite Beauty) picked the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas, to be the site of their nuptials because of its downtown locale. It was the perfect setting for their alfresco affair. “We wanted something outside under the stars and on the water,” Elizabeth says. The couple decked out their posh hotel venue with a white floral arrangements with lush greenery, romantic candles and string lights, along with boho decor such as a lace tepee, Turkish pillows and vintage rugs. “We wanted it to feel relaxed, bohemian and very natural,” Elizabeth says. “We both grew up in laid-back cities [Austin and Savannah, Georgia], and we just wanted to have a big party under the stars with our favorite people.” The bride, a talented graphic designer, handled all design aspects, from the invitations to the menus and signs. “I was very involved and loved all of it,” Elizabeth says. “It felt like a branding project for me. I had a very specific image of what I wanted, and I stuck with it.” The couple said “I do” in a Jewish and Episcopalian interfaith ceremony. “We combined a Christian ceremony with a Jewish ceremony to honor both of our families,” Elizabeth says. “So many of the Jewish portions are so fun—smashing the glass, dancing in a circle with the band, getting lifted in chairs. I loved it!” After the ceremony, guests celebrated with a cocktail hour by the hotel’s pool. Friends and family sipped signature cocktails honoring the newlyweds’ home states, Texas (jalapeno margarita) and Georgia (peach pour). The couple danced to “The Best Day of My Life” for their first dance and “You Are the Best Thing” as their last song. Their band played a mix of modern and Motown tunes throughout the evening. “After the last dance [with just the couple], walking out to all our guests with sparklers was one of my favorite things,” Elizabeth says. After their grand sparkler exit, the newlyweds hopped in a pedicab and rode down Austin’s South Congress Street to Hotel St. Cecilia, where they spent their first night as husband and wife. —Marissa Hermanson

Elizabeth, a talented graphic designer and a creative director at Bustle, designed the wedding invitations herself, from writing the calligraphy to choosing the paper and velvet ribbon. “I just love the way everything turned out,” she says.
Elizabeth and Jason decked out their ceremony space in vintage carpets, a floral arch and glass jars filled with flowers. “It all happened right in front of the water in the Four Seasons backyard under their huge trees," Elizabeth says. "I loved it!”
Jason looked handsome in a navy tux from the Black Tuxedo, which he accessorized with cuff links that were a gift from Elizabeth’s dad.
“I knew I wanted different kinds of white flowers and greenery upon greenery,” Elizabeth says about the bouquets. “The white peonies and silver dollar eucalyptus were my favorite parts.”
Elizabeth and Jason lined their ceremony aisle in vintage rugs, which gave their ceremony a boho chic look. “My dad, the night before, he joked that he wasn't ready to give me away, so everyone laughed,” Elizabeth says. “When the priest asked who gives away this girl to be married, he hesitated for a bit too long, and everyone who remembered what he said laughed.”
“Jason grew up Jewish, and I grew up Episcopalian, and we knew we wanted a combined ceremony out of respect to both our families,” Elizabeth says. The priest from Elizabeth’s church growing up officiated the ceremony, and Jason’s family friend conducted the Jewish portion of the ceremony.
Elizabeth created custom escort cards and embellished each card with white calligraphy, then displayed them in a rustic box filled with moss.
The couple used Loot Vintage for their boho decor rentals. “Going in their warehouse and choosing from their inventory of beautiful vintage pieces was the best,” Elizabeth says. “They have such pieces to choose from that really add a fun element to your wedding because they are all one of a kind. The tepee was from there, and it was one of my favorite things at the wedding. Everyone thought I was crazy to want to include it, and it ended up being such fun photo op for the guests.”
“We wanted it to feel like a garden with tons of greenery,” Elizabeth says. The couple outfitted their alfresco reception with romantic string lights, gray linens, romantic taper candles and lush greenery.
Elizabeth and Jason’s king’s table seated about 50 guests and was decked out in a long, lush garland accented with white blooms.
Romantic string lights and Edison bulbs were hung from trees, adding a magical ambient glow to the couple’s outdoor reception at Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.
Dining tables were topped with copper vessels filled with white blooms and greenery, along with white taper candles and votives, and calligraphy table number signs created by Elizabeth.
Elizabeth cleverly created menus that doubled as paper sleeves for bread. The couple served beef short ribs, lobster souffle and truffled mac and cheese.
“After the last dance [just the two of us], walking out to all our guests with sparklers was one of my favorite things,” Elizabeth says. After their sparkler exit, the newlyweds hopped in a pedicab and rode down South Congress Street to Hotel St. Cecilia in Austin, Texas, where they spent the night.
