A Bohemian Garden Wedding at Brumar Estate in Bigfork, Montana
Tessa Stevenson (27 and a CPA) and Nick Venetz (27 and an attorney) met at Montana State University at a study abroad orientation. Five years later, the couple exchanged vows at the Brumar Estate in Bigfork, Montana. Tessa wore a gold dress with a lace overlay and crystal detailing on the bodice by Justin Alexander and wore baby’s breath throughout her updo by Soucie Soucie. Nick wore a casual taupe suit with a pink tie and pink feather fly fishing boutonniere for a fun twist on the tradition. They used an antique map as inspiration for their color palette with shades of taupe, gold, green and pink. The lush garden-inspired floral arrangements by Beargrass Gardens Floral and Events included roses, dahlias, lily of the valley and lamb’s ear. They added a little rustic flair with mason jar centerpieces, burlap table runners and an old window escort card board. They celebrated with a two-tier white fondant cake with cascading sugar flowers and topped with pink lovebirds. "Nothing was over the top," Tessa says. "But, rather, there was a carefree feel to the whole day. It was full of love, laughter family and friends. I enjoyed every moment and felt completely blessed to have such an incredible group to celebrate with."
