For Tatyana Tereshkova (31 and an interior designer) and Vadim Zagidullin (31 and an engineer), art lit their spark. “My drawings inspired him, and I was inspired by his music,” says Tatyana, who married Vadim in a bohemian, Siberian-inspired forest wedding at a private residence in Russia three years after meeting. The woodsy setting was perfect for the event’s romantic berry-toned palette; family and friends helped decorate the open-air ceremony space with pinecones, green garlands, herbs, berries, garden roses and a wooden wedding arch. The on-site reception for Tatyana and Vadim’s 45 guests was set up with sturdy wooden tables and chairs and topped with pinecones, purple linens and handcrafted wooden candelabras. In a personal twist, Vadim’s band, 1000 Records, played during the reception, allowing the groom to serenade his bride. Among the event's numerous handcrafted details were the wedding favors—gift bags with the tea of Siberian herbs and flowers, which were collected by Tatyana and Vadim's mothers. “Don’t copy someone else's wedding,” Tatyana says. “Create your own holiday.” —Carolyn Meers

"The bouquet, the flower crown and the boutonniere were ordered one hour before the ceremony," Tatyana says. "Our parents were shocked. But we knew that everything would be OK." The last-minute creations were made with carnations, roses, wildflowers and berries. The flower crown was made of amazing white eustomas.
Tatyana designed her own wedding dress. "I always knew the classic white dress was not for me. My heart stopped when eyes fell on a deep blueberry color satin," Tatyana says. "The classic veil transformed into a decorative translucent skirt and decorated with 357 chiffon violets."
In place of a wedding party, Vadim and Tatyana had three flower girls. Each wore a flower crown made of white eustomas to match Tatyana's.
Tatyana and Vadim exchanged vows under a handcrafted wooden wedding arch that was draped with cranberry curtains and decorated with evergreen garlands.
At the on-site reception, guests sat at long banquet tables topped with naturalistic wooden candelabras, wooden serving platters and purple linens.
Strings of bistro lights were hung above the reception's long banquet tables. Each was topped with wooden candelabras and serving platters and purple linens.
Place settings were modestly appointed with pinecones, calligraphed name cards and merlot-toned napkins.
To complement Tatyana's deep blueberry-hued gown, Vadim wore an Italian wool vest in checkered lavender print, a crisp white shirt, and light blue pants.
