A Bohemian Backyard Wedding at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee

Taylor D’Elia (32 and a bridal consultant) and Evan Felvey (28 and in the US Navy) blended their boho and patriotic styles in their wedding at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. “My dream for the wedding was a bohemian backyard party,” Taylor says. She wore a flower crown with her backless, flutter-sleeve Chantilly lace wedding dress. “My style has always been a little funky and a little bohemian,” Taylor says. As for Evan, he wore his Navy formal dress blues for the ceremony, but changed into a casual gray suit for the reception. “Serving this country is something that we are both very proud of,” the couple says on their choice to include patriotic details in their wedding. “We couldn’t overlook the fact that it was Memorial Day Weekend, so we made a tribute wall for those who serve and continue to serve our country,” Taylor says. One detail to note: Taylor and Evan are actually from New Jersey, but there was a deeper meaning in their decision to gather their family and friends for a destination wedding close to Nashville. As Taylor tells us: “The real reason we chose to go to Nashville was because we really wanted a weekend of memories with our families. And boy, did we make memories. Between late nights at the honky-tonks to my uncle singing on stage downtown and sampling Southern cuisine. We were able to spend time with family and friends, and that was the best gift we could receive.”
