A Bohemian Backyard Wedding at a Private Residence in Ocala, Florida

Katy Lovell and Daniel Mora's wedding took place at the bride's parent's house in Ocala, Florida. They used the tropical setting as inspiration for their bohemian bash. "I loved the idea of a lot of greenery with a dusty, smoky blue, gray and white color palette ," Katy says of planning a "luxe bohemian greenery" affair. The vine-like detailing on Katy's formfitting wedding dress inspired many of the day's elements, including the vellum wrap for the simple invitations, greenery chandeliers and bespoke hanging macramé pieces. Katy also wore a beaded hair accessory, while Daniel donned a dark blue suit. The ceremony commenced under majestic trees filled with billowing Spanish moss. Vintage rugs made up the aisle, which was lined by pampas grass, greenery and wood benches. The day continued after in a white reception tent decorated with greenery and string lights. Guests sat on rustic cross-back chairs placed at both round and farm tables. "Heavy, smoky cut-glass vases, garlands and tillandsias completed the farm tables, while matte gray and blue bowls overflowed with flowers on the round dining tables," Katy says. "Groupings of coordinated rental furniture also allowed guests to wander, gather and connect."
