A Blush Palette Brought Romantic Vibes to This Wedding at Wrightsville Manor in North Carolina
La Kesha and David wanted their wedding day to have two distinct feels—a classic, romantic ceremony to start the day followed by an all-out party at the reception. "It may sound unconventional however the theme for our wedding was classy in the beginning and a party at the end. I wanted people to be wowed by the elegance of the venue and not expect for it to transition to a party once the reception started," explains La Kesha of the flow of the wedding at Wrightsville Manor in Wilmington, North Carolina. Once the couple settled on the feel they wanted for their big day, they got to work planning the visual components of the nuptials. "The wedding venue had a rustic but elegant vibe. We just wanted to add to that with whites, blushes, light purple, and lots of greenery. We also included lots of candles to give a romantic vibe as well," says La Kesha of the aesthetics. La Kesha recalls having two favorite moments from the wedding: "Walking down the aisle and seeing David there waiting for me. And having the best party with all our family and friends." As for the party, the couple chose to serve tasty Southern staples that they knew all their guests would enjoy. Looking back on her romantic wedding day at Wrightsville Manor in Wilmington, North Carolina, La Kesha encourages all current to-be-weds to remember to "take your time and everything will work out how it's supposed to. There may be bumps along the way but in the end, you get to marry your person."
