A Blush and Mint Backyard Wedding at a Private Residence in Scottsdale, Arizona

Lush trees, manicured greenery and an abundance of flowers filled the backyard garden wedding of Brittany Kaiser (23 and an event coordinator) and James Slabaugh (29 and a business owner) at their friend’s home in Scottsdale, Arizona. “The backyard has so many flowers we barely had to bring in any decorations,” Brittany says. They selected a palette of blush, mint and cream to go with the garden setting. For decor, Brittany and James enhanced the romance with a few string lights and candles, along with accents of baby’s breath, wooden slabs, mason jars and chalkboard signs. True to their laid-back nature, Brittany and James brought in extra chairs for guests who tagged along with friends, and marked their marriage with Communion and an Ebenezer stone. Later, Mike Land sang and provided acoustic tunes for entertainment and everyone danced and dined on finger foods. Suzy Goodrick Photography was on hand to capture the sweet moments, below.
