A Blue-Hued Summer Wedding at The Cira Centre Atrium at JG Domestic in Philadelphia
Powder blue linens and paper goods paired perfectly with copper accents for a modern, romantic look for Nicole Molino (28 and a teacher) and Kevin Johnson’s (29 and a chief of staff) Philadelphia wedding. “I wish I could have kept it forever,” Nicole says of the dramatic floral trellis that framed her and Kevin as they exchanged vows in front of their guests at Penn Museum. “We didn’t have a specific style in mind—we knew what we didn’t like, and the design just came together from there.” Florals were inspired by the stone fruit of summer, and Nicole carried an asymmetrical arrangement secured with blue velvet ribbon for her walk down the aisle. For their first dance as newlyweds, Nicole and Kevin swayed to “Loving Wings” by Dave Matthews Band. “We love a good dance party,” Nicole says. “My dad and I broke into a surprise performance to the ‘Wobble’ before my mom and sister joined in. It was one of the best moments of my life, hands down.”
