rn Using a blue, white and gold color scheme, Jamie Corker (22 and a student) and Jacob Tyriver (23 and a systems engineer) echoed their personalities in every piece of decor at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation in Gurley, Alabama. Their wedding flowers, bold table numbers and favors brought out the couple's style. It all started with one flower. Since Jamie loves hydrangeas, they worked with 333 Designs to put them everywhere. Mandy Owens Photography captured the blooms filling each accent from the waterfront wedding arbor to the bouquets and the centerpieces in shades of blue and white. For the reception, Jamie and Jacob showed off her love for things that sparkle with gold glitter table numbers. Each one stood out against a backdrop of navy runners, white linens and matching place settings. The couple's wedding favors made their day even sweeter. Before any of their guests left, Jamie and Jacob sent everyone home with jarred red or blue preserves. Its sign  read “a sweet ending to a new beginning.” “Jacob and I love to be with our families, so we wanted our wedding to feel like a big, fun family gathering,” Jamie says. See every detail from the natural, nontraditional ceremony to a 225-person sparkler exit, below.

“I love hydrangeas, so they were everywhere,” Jamie says. Her bouquet was no exception. After working with 333 Designs, she was ready for their ceremony with a full blue hydrangea bouquet. Its white ribbon wrap complemented her dress while added greenery gave the arrangement a hint of texture.
Her bridesmaids wore the inverse of Jamie’s look. Each woman looked nothing short of classic in a chic blue dress with a high bateau neckline and A-line skirt. The cut highlighted Jamie’s ball gown. Of course, the bridesmaids also carried Jamie's favorite hydrangeas in white.
Before their wedding began, Jamie and Jacob took a few moments at their ceremony site to share a first look. Jamie walked up to him in a white ball gown with her favorite sparkles. (The entire bodice glittered with clear sequins.) Jacob waited for her in a modern navy blue suit and white shirt.
For their ceremony, white flowers filled every arrangement. The couple highlighted the metal wedding arbor in draped white fabric and matching white blooms at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation in Gurley, Alabama. A display of her favorite white hydrangeas, calla lilies, delphiniums and stock flowers decorated the center.
Jamie and Jacob let their location serve as the main decor and made the ceremony their own with fun music. A grand arrangement of white hydrangeas decorated the arbor while similar displays marked the aisle. Jacob and their attendants walked into the service to “Not With Haste” by Mumford and Sons. Jamie came in to her own beat of a “1,000 Years” cover by the Piano Guys.
Each groomsman stood out with a modern, casual attire. Matching Jacob’s polished navy suit, they all wore navy vests with matching pants and white shirts from Kathy Rose Fashions and Tuxedo Rental. Their gold ties added a hint of unexpected color, which we love. To highlight the natural setting, they also donned white boutonnieres.
Their sweetheart table wasn't the only one with some sparkle. Jamie and Jacob jazzed up their reception with gold glitter numbers on every table. Each one stood out with a white backdrop and glitter border. Matching low, white arrangements of her favorite hydrangeas also marked the tables.
“The barn reception hall at Hampton Cove Wedding Plantation is so beautiful with minimal decorations,” Jamie says. Therefore, they focused on solid-colored decor. White linens covered every table alongside neutral chiavari chairs, which matched the room's exposed wood beams. For an added pop of color, navy table runners and napkins decorated every place setting.
Every guest table brought out the couple's wedding colors. On top of white dinnerware with navy napkins, they covered the seating with white linens and solid navy runners. White centerpieces with hydrangeas (Jamie's favorite flowers) also brought out the favored hue.
For their wedding cake, Jamie and Jacob went with a classic confection covered in unexpected details. Just Crumbs topped every layer of strawberry buttercream cake in chic ivory fondant. Gold fondant discs cascaded along the front below white wafer flowers. A gold "best day ever" topper matched the accents.
Their dessert options didn't stop with a tiered strawberry cake or football-themed groom's cake. Before their sparkler exit, the couple sent everyone home with a jar of preserves. The phrase "love is sweet," as well as their names and wedding date, marked each one. A sign that read “a sweet ending to a new beginning, thank you for celebrating with us!” also marked the display.
Jamie and Jacob are huge Green Bay Packers fans, so it was no surprise that his groom's cake featured the football team. Baked by Just Crumbs, they represented the Wisconsin team with a big cheese-head-inspired confection. The table linens also had the team's green logos.
“Jacob and I love to be with our families, so we wanted our wedding to feel like a big, fun family gathering,” Jamie says. She and Jacob didn't want their time with guests to end, so they shared one last memory of the night: a grand exit. All 225 guests brightened the night sky with sparklers as Jamie and Jacob took their leave.
